Frequently Asked Questions

Q- How come the wrapping paper and/or some of the elements used to wrap the book are damaged?

A- If you purchased an inventory close-out item, your item will have blemishes. These items have been moved out of our warehouse and have been damaged during the move.

Q- Have these books been previously read?

A- In most cases, the answer is YES. However, we make every effort not to wrap books that have water marks, have been written in (other than author signatures), have torn or missing pages, or are otherwise damaged in some way. However, we do not guarantee that the book inside the package may not have minor blemishes in it. We can only do our best to scan through each book before wrapping it.

Q- Can I request a specific book to be wrapped?

A- No. We rescue books from being thrown away and wrap what we have on hand. We seldom have more than 1 copie of each book.

Q- What if I get a book I don't like?

A- That is part of the excitement of ordering a Blind Date Book! You never know what you are going to get. This is the model of our business and we never guarantee you will enjoy the read of the book you receive.

Q- Where do you source your book decorations?

A- We source from a variety of areas and do our best to use items that will help keep the cost of our books to a minimum for our customers.

Q- Are all of the books hand wrapped?

A- Yes. We get books in that are at risk for being thrown out and we wrap them as they come in. Each book is hand wrapped and individually decorated based on whatever creative elements we have in stock.

Q- When do you Bubble Wrap books?

A- From time to time we will bubble wrap some of the books we get in, and decorate the outside of the bubble wrap. We call this our Pop Pop Surprise line. We do not bubble wrap books more than once per inventory turn-over, which generally means no more than once every 4-6 weeks. You will want to keep an eye out on our website for when we have bubble wrap books available because they go quickly.

Q-How do the digital products work?

A- For digital products, such as bookmarks and stickers, you are purchasing the digital file that will download to your own computer or device, and youare responsible for printing the items yourself. You are free to print on whatever type of paper you desire.
