Laura discovered the joy of unwrapping a beautifully wrapped mystery book after purchasing one from a local library gift shop. That single experience sparked a passion for creating individually wrapped books ...each one unique, handcrafted, and full of surprise.
As an author, Laura hated seeing books thrown away or sent to landfills. Determined to give forgotten stories a second life, she began rescuing pre-loved books and transforming them into meaningful gifts through careful wrapping and decorative touches.
Today, 90% of our Blind Date Book Co books are rescued, pre-loved novels that are cleaned, refreshed, and given new life before being wrapped. No two books are ever identical, and every single one is decorated with unique purpose and design.
